After our first collaboration with Seventh Element on Fallout Equestrian, we agreed to work on a vocal song which would mix strong ambient tunes with impactful lyrics. “Sea Of Dreams”, based on an instrumental track originally called “Sea Of Darkness”, is the plea of a lost soul trapped on a dystopian, futuristic and foreign planet, its dreams of a better life, and its eventual rise and battle to claim said life.

Raven’s Jig – A Feast on Monkey Island
This arrange aimed to give a new life to the theme song to the game Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s revenge. The idea was to mix this engaging composition with some piano, some keyboard, and a whole lot of ethnic instrumentation, creatively used to infuse new magic, by enhancing the song’s exotic and adventurous feeling.

Raven’s Jig – Fallout Equestria
What if the post-nuclear context of hit video game Fallout was transposed to a universe such as My Little Pony’s Equestria? This creative clash between two drastically different universes was imagined by Seventh Element, and was at the origin of his album “The Ministry Mares” which would follow some time later. In this version, we arranged Seventh Element’s creation in our style, featuring his composition and guitar, and our signature epic instrumentation. As this song gains its strength from its highly marked atmosphere, we preferred not to interfere with vocals.

Raven’s Jig – Hijo de la Luna (English on-vocal)
This is a translation of a Spanish-language hit song originally performed by Mecano. Except it’s not. Or is it? This English adaptation relies on automatic writing, to provide absurd lyrics jumping from one idea to another, following the course of the lyricist’s mind. Of course, you can still take it as a translation… Only at your own risk. The original song’s story is much more tragic.

Raven’s Jig – Lilium
Another one of our oldest vocal collabs, this arrange of an iconic Elfen Lied soundtrack relies heavily on the choir of children we have also used as a instruments in later arranges in similar lyrical styles. Not to mention an opportunity for Agathe to test her vocal range, which also provided good practice for later collaborations.

Raven’s Jig – Lullaby of Lost Cultures (alt1)
Soon after the release of our Lullaby of Deserted Hell arrangement, we played an alt version.
Another Touhou arrange we would go on to re-play with lyrics much later… This first arrange, more instrumentally daring than our next versions, focused on a variety of oriental instruments to mix the medieval with the exotic.
